I REPLACED THE REAR FRAME FROM A BI-POSTO BIKE. ALL 999 R ARE ONLY MONO-POSTO. THIS IS A ONE A KIND BI-POSTO.
885 MILES.
BIKE WAS JUST COMPLETELY SERVICED AT DUCATI MANHATTAN ON JANUARY 10, 2008.
TIP TOP SHAPE.
I AM SELLING BECAUSE I DON'T RIDE ANYMORE. IT WAS A TOUGH DECISION I HAD TO MAKE.
I BOUGHT BIKE BRAND NEW AND INSTALLED A $5000 LEO VINCE FULL EXHAUST SYSTEM. SOUNDS LIKE NO OTHER.
BUY NOW BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND. I HATE TO DEPART WITH THIS BIKE.
Also, the new Ducati 1098 R will have a $40,000 price tag, and that's before you change the exhaust. This 999 R is a bargain compared to what you can buy new.
The Ducati 1098 and 1098 S don't even compare to the 999 R or any R for that matter.
Go to www.KBB.com showing the value of the bike. I would argue more as I have a $5000 exhaust system here, not to mention it only has 885 miles and is in mint condition.
